Terms of Service

1. Who we are

These Terms apply to CandyTask, a pre-launch productivity project operated by Maxim Shubin, based in Tel Aviv, Israel. For questions about these Terms, contact us at hello@candytask.com.

2. What “Service” means

At present, the Service consists of:

• the candytask.com marketing website;
• the waitlist sign-up;
• pre-launch communications we send to subscribers.

The CandyTask application itself is not yet released. When the app launches, we will publish updated, expanded Terms covering the product itself, and notify subscribers before they take effect.

3. Eligibility

The Service is intended for users aged 16 and over. By joining the waitlist, you confirm you are at least 16 years old. If you believe a minor has signed up, contact us and we will delete their data.

4. Your account

The only data we currently associate with you is the email address you submit. You are responsible for providing an email address you control and for keeping that email account secure. You may unsubscribe or request deletion at any time — see our Privacy Policy.

5. Marketing communications

By checking the second consent box on the sign-up form, you agree to receive product updates, early-access invitations, and announcements from CandyTask, in accordance with Israel's Spam Law (Amendment 40 to the Communications Law, 5742-1982). Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. This consent is optional and is not required to join the waitlist.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• submit emails you do not own or have no right to use;
• attempt to flood, scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service;
• use the Service to violate any law or harm any person.

7. Intellectual property

The CandyTask name, logo, mascots (Sun and Luna), visual design, written content, and code are owned by Maxim Shubin and protected by Israeli and international copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission. Linking to candytask.com is welcome.

8. Pre-launch nature of the Service

Because the Service is in pre-launch, we make no promises about specific launch dates, feature sets, pricing, or platform availability. Plans may change. Subscribers will be informed before any material change affects them.

9. No medical or health advice

CandyTask is a productivity and focus tool, designed to be friendly to people with ADHD and similar needs. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing in the Service is a substitute for professional care. Always consult a qualified health professional about any medical condition, and never disregard or delay professional advice because of something you read or use here.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, except where such exclusion is not permitted by Israeli consumer-protection law. Your statutory consumer rights under Israeli law are not affected by this clause.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Israeli law, Maxim Shubin shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for harm caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. For material changes, we will email all waitlist subscribers before the change takes effect, giving you a reasonable opportunity to unsubscribe before being bound. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the most recent revision.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and unsubscribe at any time. We may discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time. If we close the project entirely, we will notify subscribers and delete personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel.
